1 Year
It's been a year since we lost Brandon. One thing that brings a smile to my face on a day like this is knowing that all of us are spending the day reflecting on the ways that Brandon has and will continue to inspire us all to become better people.
We're all in this together...
We miss you B.

ROONEY, BRETT DENNEN, LISA DONNELLY TO ROCK THE ROXY IN LA FOR SCHOLARSHIP FUND AT UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS
Music Madness on Thursday 3/6 in honor of the late Brandon Schantz
Eighties-flavored rockers Rooney,singer/songwriter Brett Dennen & Lisa Donnelly will perform at the Roxy Theatre on March 6 to establish an endowment at the University of Texas at Austin. The show is open to the public, tickets via Ticketmaster or Roxy box-office are $26.50, with all proceeds going towards the Brandon Schantz Memorial Endowment in Broadcast Journalism at the University of Texas at Austin.
Brandon Schantz a talented television producer, sportscaster and founder of Brandon Schantz Productions recently succumbed to a rare form of lymphatic cancer at age 27. In his honor, Brandon¹s friends, family and colleagues have organized a music-driven party at LA¹s legendary Roxy Theatre that promises to be every bit as joyous, zany and celebratory as Brandon himself was known to be.
The University of Texas at Austin was Schantz¹s alma mater where he studied broadcast journalism. Post graduation, Schantz¹s burgeoning career brought him to Los Angeles. The friendships he formed, both in Texas and in Los Angeles, remain steadfast.
"Brandon was an incredible person and a talented producer. His energy and enthusiasm were contagious,² said concert organizers Kevin Dobski and Jonathan Eshak. ³He had a passion for live music and loved bringing people together, so the concert will be a perfect way for us to honor Brandon."
